I've enjoyed singing ever since I was three years old and it's always been my dream to be an artist’s/singer/songwriter. I love performing and the buzz from singing on stage. I sing and play all the time and love making up new songs, riffs and melodies. I started learning the guitar at the Royal Academy aged 7 but this was mainly a classical training, I now learn with Professor Colin Downs and we play all genres of music. My first piano lessons were at the Newham Academy and now I play mainly jazz piano. I have been very fortunate with my schooling as my Primary School taught through the arts and I performed at many important venues in London including the Royal Albert Hall. In October 2003 aged 9, I was awarded the young creative artist of the year in Newham and performed at Stratford Town Hall in front of five hundred people. I have watched, listened and played with all manner of groups and artists aboard my family’s party boat in Docklands. I auditioned and was accepted to attend Pimlico School Special Music which has enabled me to continue my musical education. We have regular performances and showcases and this year I will be going with the music group to Paris to take part in several concerts. During my school holidays I have performed at various open mic nights and folk clubs. I have composed some of my own songs and hope that you will listen and enjoy my work. My Musical PerformancesAt three and a half I made my FIRST public appearance in Tenerife. At my first school “Ilford Ursuline Preparatory” I sang, "My heart will go on" from Titanic this is one of my favorite movies. I attended Debra Day Theatre School from the age of six until eight where I learned dance tap, ballet and modern. When I left Debra Day I attended Italia Conti Theatre School on Sundays at Wimbledon and whilst there I appeared at Guildford Theatre and Clapham Theatre. I had my first proper audition for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and my first motorcycle accident (pillion) on the journey to the theatre. I didn’t get the part. At 7years old I sang solo at the Barking Theatre in a show for Starlight. I attended the Royal Academy of Music on a Saturday morning for a two year course in classical guitar. Since leaving the Royal Academy I have continued my guitar lessons with Professor Colin Downs. I started piano lessons at the Newham Academy when I was seven years. I studied mainly jazz piano. When I was eight years old I attended Gallions Primary School. This school was very influential as it taught through the arts. My head teacher Mrs. Thompson who was a music teacher and operatic singer encouraged me enormously. I started violin lessons at Gallions and we played with the BBC symphony orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall. Whilst I was at school our country became involved with the war in Iraq. I re wrote a song “No more War” which was featured on Channel 4 news following on from a walk by women including myself from Westminster to the American Embassy. This song can be played on my website. Whilst at Gallions School I won the school cup for performing arts and had my name engraved. In October 2003 I won a gold award from Newham Council for the arts in the annual Shinning through Awards. I played guitar and sang at the award ceremony at Stratford Town Hall. I also performed at the inauguration of the Civic Ambassador for Newham in May 2004 at Newham Town Hall. Westminster Abbey for the Queen I auditioned for Pimlico Special Music Course 2004 and was accepted. I have played and sang at various venues with the special music group including the Tate Gallery the barbican & Bolivar Hall. I have also been involved with the LSO in the Easter Holidays. I sing and play with Pimlico Junior Folk Group. I appeared in Bugsy Malone the musical and Dido and Aneas the opera at Pimlico School. December 2005 I played five live performances aboard The Tereza Joanne floating venue two of these were alongside other bands that asked me to perform with them. During the school holidays I have played at various folk clubs and open mic nights including
